Earrings
Gemstone bead earrings on Sterling Silver wire with Sterling Silver hooks and studs, or Gold Filled wire with 9ct Gold hooks and studs. Drop lengths are approximate and measured from the centre of the stud or loop of the hook to the base of the lowest bead.
Gemstone bead jewellery is once again increasingly fashionable, the simplicity of the lines giving a pure and sought-after elegance.
Definition of Sterling Silver and Gold Filled
- Sterling Silver
-
Sterling silver is also called “925 Silver”, its silver content being 925 parts per thousand, or 92.5% silver, 7.5% base metal.
- Gold Filled
-
Gold filled wire is formed from a solid 14ct gold tube filled with other metal alloys, creating a permanent bond. This tube forms 1/10 of the completed wire, whereas gold plating can be as thin as just 1/2500,000 mm, or 0.0000004mm! Gold Filled wears just like solid gold because that is exactly what the outer surface is.
9ct Gold is 9/24 gold + 15/24 base metal, 24ct is pure gold.
A Note About Colour
Whilst we try to ensure that all our photos give an accurate representation of true colour, some discrepancy is always possible owing to the digital chain between you and us, and variations in replication between different computer screens.
