Minerals & Healing Crystals
All our minerals are hand picked by Andy and Rose and only the finest selected. Earthlight’s stock includes a wide range of natural stones, cut and polished crystals, carvings, tumbled stones, fossils, and unusual geological specimens.
A small range is available to buy here, on-line, and please contact us if you have further requirements. We will send you photos and further information. Many items are likely to be in stock, but if not, we will search specifically for the stone you want.
Why do People Love Stones?
We believe that often it is because of their beauty; they are like flowers that never wilt. This in itself seems a good enough reason for having them around.
Others collect them because each individual mineral is totally unique and extremely ancient. And commonly, many people appreciate that stones have metaphysical properties that can hold, and sometimes transmit, subtle energies. For example, placing a quartz cluster by your computer will help to remove electro magnetic pollution from the area. An amethyst placed as a room piece will help keep the atmosphere lighter and calmer.
Using a variety of stones you can make mandalas or grids to use for meditation or for sending healing to situations, places or people (but please never do this without the person’s permission). Two quartz points, held in a certain way, will help to balance your own energies.

Cleaning Minerals
PLEASE REMEMBER that because minerals soak up the energies around them, they need regular cleaning. Not just dusting or washing, but cleared energetically too!
Most stones can be cleared by holding under running water, by placing them for a few hours in sunlight, or by placing on a bed of sea salt. However not all stones like salt or water so if in doubt, clear them using sound (a bell, singing bowl or by singing a pure note), or by using a good quality smudge (White Mountain sage).
Whichever method you use, form the intent that you wish to remove from the stone all energies that are not in alignment with the Light.
